Our Story
From a concrete deck to a Dallas cult following.
PITFIT wasn’t built in a boardroom. It was built on a concrete deck at Travis Walk by a coach who believed Dallas deserved harder, more honest HIIT.

Chris Wiese, Founder & Head Coach
Chris has been a driving force in Dallas' fitness community for over 13 years, coaching at leading Dallas studios including PITFIT, Tread Fitness & Park Cities Personal Training. His approach blends strength training, HIIT, functional movement, sports conditioning and nutrition — fueled by his belief that fitness is a powerful tool for improving mental health and resilience. Over the past five years he's built PITFIT into one of Dallas' most distinctive studios, earning trainer-of-the-year honors from D Magazine & ClassPass, appearances on Fox 4 News & WFAA Channel 8, and features in D Magazine, Dallas Observer and Luxury Magazine.
The garage wasn't a gimmick — it was the point. No mirrors to pose in, no machines to hide behind. Just a coach, a clock, and a room full of people pushing each other through the hardest hour of their day.

The Mission
Strip fitness back to what works: programmed intervals, real coaching, honest effort, and a room small enough that nobody disappears. Sixty minutes at a time.
The Name
The PIT is the concrete deck we train on — a converted parking garage at Travis Walk. The name came first, before a single class was booked. The cult following came fast after.
